Your honor,

I'd like to motion to dismiss charges against my client, given the lack of evidence against him, as confessed by the prosecution. Indeed, the prosecution says the logs provided merely 'resemble' evidence, and has no concrete evidence beyond this. The prosecution also admits that the logged conversations between Treize Dreizehn and Cameron Romefeller (aka Camwood) consist not of entrapment, but rather of 'a simple request', and were therefore published with honest and good intent and well within the confines of Osiran law. Hence, the only logical ending to this trial is one where my client is fully acquitted, rendering the steps between here and there irrelevant and potentially damaging to our region's global reputation.

After review of this case at the request of Mr. Romefeller for a new prosecutor, I have determined that there is, at this time, insufficient evidence for these charges to be adequately prosecuted. As such, the Temple of Seshat is withdrawing the charges of defamation against Pharaoh Ravenclaw and Scribe Dreizehn without prejudice. If further evidence for these charges comes to light in the future, the case will be reviewed and possibly resubmitted to the Pschent.

The Temple of Seshat thanks the Pschent for its time and patience.

The Pschent hereby grants the motion of the prosecution to withdraw the case, and notes the reservation made by the same. So ordered.
