Dear me-in-the-future,
I must remain strong. The world is much scarier than I had anticipated. Gum thieves on every corner. Scary men in cloaks with tickle sticks. Taxes!? With each passing day, my desires to be the absolute winner become less and less.... desirable. Each morning I am faced with the perils of this world and each morning I must remind myself that I am the Self Proclaimed Lord Protector of Owls Worldwide. I have to endure. I have to go on. I have to continue the fight, for if not me, then who? I have to continue for the owls.
For. The. Owls.
*closes journal, looks up and stares with determination at the camera; breaking the fourth wall*
*owl hoots in the distance, flutter of wings, camera fades*
