"Hastein! I need to relieve some frustration!" Undoing the leather straps that kept his weapons in place V approached the viking with his fists up and cocked a smile.

Fortunately, the ferry reached the other side of the river with a thud before the fight had broken out. Hasan quickly ushered the group off the boat and hurried to the small herd of camels that was waiting nearby. After exchanging some coins with a rough looking man that was holding their reins, he returned to the others.

"Time to make a move. We camp for the night on the heights to the North two leagues off on the horizon. Its rough terrain and off the roads so will be hard going but we need to try and reach it by night fall in a few hours. We don't want to be on the move in the dark if we value our lives. Pick a camel and lets go."

With that Hasen leaped onto the nearest one and started off.

Dorian assessed the remaining few before settling on one off to the right, it had a little less meat on it than the rest and Doran, viewing his comrades, figured it best this particular little creature shouldn't have to bare their weight. As a result he hopped on the back and set off towards camp.

Shar grabbed one the camel's reins, climbed into the saddle, and began to ride after the masked man. He patted the camel's neck softly and said "Don't worry buddy, I've got enough water for both of us."

He yelled back at the rest of the folks still trying to figure out how to mount themselves, "Those other guys aren't going to kill themselves... probably, we should move. And quickly!"

Dorian wasn't that far ahead of Shar when Shar set off, and couldn't help but hearing his musings to his camel. "You realize they store water right? He probably has more than you can summon" he laughed cheekily before snapping the reigns ushering the camel forth at speed.

Valk slid onto the back of a camel that didn't spit at him. He just patted its neck and took after the rest of the group.

Rashidi stared at the camels and stood awkwardly for a second, until he did something he knew he'd regret. He bent down to the bottom of his robes and then pulled them off above his head, revealing thick, red, long sleeved underclothing. He stuffed the robes into his satchel, re-did his now chaotic looking headdress, and then sat on the camels again.

"Did you think I was giving the kind of show to be found in the back alleys of Thebes? I can't ride a camel wearing robes!" he stared at Shar and V. "Well, for some reason they have no trouble at all. But truly I just can't see how one controls their camel wearing robes." he looked at his compatriots again, glancing each one as if he was in a corner. "Plenty of people back home wore robes while riding, but they're just... I don't know, right?" He had done something no scholar should do-say something weak and with no basis. Even worse, he was arguing with himself. "Okay, fine! I can't ride a camel wearing robes. So what?!" No matter how little of a deal this was to his party, it was a huge deal for him. Suddenly he had a flashback of back in his tribe, all the children laughing at little Rashi struggling to get his legs around the animal.

He snapped out of it and went on his way.

It had been a few years since Kelikon had last ridden a camel but he was still familiar enough with the animal to be a decent rider. Remaining silent, he mounted the nearest one and followed his companions.

Smiling just slightly, V cleared his throat. He knew the days ahead of him were going to be long so there had to be some fun for the group.

"Ooooooh! There once was a lass, her name was Mary.
She had bosoms as large as any ferry!
Her voice was sultry, manner a bit slutty,
But her customers liked it, even if she was tubby!

Well one day some raiders fell upon the town,
Mary was a bit disposed wearing only her nightgown.
The mayor came knocking, at the lass's door,
'I must ask for your services to avoid a war!'

And so Mary serviced the whole town, she did!
Every raider was busy, while the town guard hid.
When night fell and their pants were around their knees.
This opportunity, the town guard did seize!

With swords drawn, they fell upon the invaders!
They were kicked out of the town, most blood went unspilt,
The town rejoiced and Mary was thanked for her labors.
Then most of the guard went up to their hilts, ho!"

Valk continued whistling on and chuckled a bit at the song he created on a whim.

Rashidi held on to his camel, and stood staring at the desert in front of him, considering the song for a second.

He sniggered for a short while before another pause in his demeanor...

"Did-did you...?! PFFF-AHA HA HA HA HA HA!" for at least 30 seconds, Rashidi had a long, hearty laugh. His head bent down. His face was red, he was losing his breath. His left arm rested at his stomach. The laugh slowly faded until a little chuckle escaped his breath. He joyfully sighed, and wiped his eyes of the tears. He popped his head back up, and looked to Valk. He spoke, with curiosity mixed with a hint of post-laughter amusement. "It's...so peculiar. It's absurd. Disgusting!" his face went stern for a moment. He thought of the song more and his face went sour, and suddenly he smiled again. "That awful song. It truly brought me joy. But how? Did you make that up yourself? When did this cross your mind- was it crafted over a period of months or did you improvise it?"
