I am currently working on my character. It's mostly done but a picture and his history, which I'm going to build in my head over the next day or so.

Full Name: Adrias Kelikon
Appearance: 6'2", 220 lb., long black hair, green eyes
Sex: Male
Age: 27
Affiliation: Member of the Thanos tribe of Zeira
Occupation: hunter, spy, tracker
Physical Details: scar on left side of forehead, burn mark on right hand (hand is still functional)
Weapons: longbow, dagger, quarterstaff
Apparel: wears a black bearfur cloak, black talisman of Clomadis (Zeira god of death favored by Thanosians) and leather armor
Items: has a small flute and book of Zeira religious writings he carries in a small leather satchel.
Personality: Adrias is skeptical of those he considers "foreigners" (that is, those who are not of the four Zeira tribes). He is willing to work with them but is slow to make frienships even with fellow Zeira. He much prefers a solo hunt or meditation to interaction with others.
Skills: Adrias' primary skills are hunting and tracking. He is also skilled in intelligence gathering. He has amateur-level musical skills but rarely plays in front of others. He is also fluent in the four Zeira languages (Thanosian, Marovite, Liocasian, and Damutur) as well as the common tongue.
History: Adrias was raised in the northern part of the kingdom of Zeira in southwest Osiris. He is a member of the semi-nomadic Thanos tribe. He is a devout follower of the Zeira god of death, Clomadis. He is experienced as a mercenary hunter and spy among his tribe as well as occasional work for the Zeira aristocracy.

No worries with taking your time doing characters. Given the time of year (and the fact this is the first ever character RP I've ran/ taken part in) we'll take it slow and steady so no one is left behind at all :)

Full Name: Rashidi Baruti
Nicknames: The Scholar of Heraf
Appearance:
Spoiler
He also carries many large satchels with him containing the items that will be listed.

Sex: Male
Age: 54
Affiliation: Though a proud Herafian he puts Osiris as a whole before it, and before that he puts the scholarly community and the pursuit of knowledge.
Occupation: Scholar, Teacher, Archaeologist, Merchant
Physical Details: Weak and old.
Weapons: A dagger around his belt.
Apparel: A green robe with yellow patterns, red underclothing, red sandals , and a big white headdress and scarf.
Items: Scholarly scrolls, books, maps, and small artifacts.
Personality: Intelligent, well-spoken, well-mannered, quite charming, tolerant, patient, love for learning and teaching, and generous. Though some can argue he's too nice and too trusting, and easy to backstab.
Skills: Knowledge of Osiran history, wide range of linguistics (both ancient and new), mathematics and the sciences, navigation and orientation of Osiris, and expert architectural studies.
History: Rashidi was born into a Herafian tribe though not raised as a shepherd like most of the children. The reason was because his father was not born of that tribe- his father was just a scholar who got lost and was helped by the nomads, and he later joined tribe. Rashidi's father taught him as much as he knew scholarly, which was supported by the wide travel and experiences he went through as a child.

When he came of age he himself explored Osiris. Though he was tribe-less and on his own, he made many a friend during his days and was owed many a favor. He kept his income by selling artifacts to other scholarly individuals and collectors. As a merchant, he learnt to keep a dagger with him in case of thieves or unruly customers. Despite this he rarely came across them because only the rich or scholarly would buy from him, which caused him to be very trustful and not skilled in fighting. These younger days were exciting and he fondly misses them.

When he got older he settled in various temporary Heraf camps near Thebes, spending his time researching as well as doing scientific experiments, and then writing books about them such as the self explanatory titled books On the Stars and Planets, What lies North, Ancient Days Before, Study of Multiplication, The Human Body, and a book which was more a collection of theories to do with magic instead of a research study he did himself called Theories of Spell and Curse, among others. He has also written planning scrolls and blue prints for inventions and buildings, and made maps of obscurer areas of Osiris.

Now rather than the adventurous days of tombs raiding, ruin exploring, and scholarly debates, he travels to teach both children and the uneducated poor for less than what should be paid, as well as even giving some artifacts to curious young students for cheap. This has not made him poor but still much poorer than scholars usually earn.

Both from the need of money and the yearning of adventure he has answered the call to Hasan to explore the ruins.
oo wee oo i look just like lord osiris
oh oh, and she's isis many-named
i don't care how they pray about us anyway
i don't care bout that

Full Name: Shar Ericsson
Nicknames: Iceflight.
Appearance:
Spoiler
Sex: Male
Age: 35
Affiliation: Priest of Thor, Citizen of the Seidr, Member of the Water Summoners Guild.
Occupation: The priests of Thor of Seidiria are fierce warriors who practice their control over water and wind. Shar Ericsson is a member of the Water Summoners Guild, a small group who hire out to caravans and adventurers heading into the desert. The simple ability to summon water at will makes them a very important part of most journeys.
Physical Details: 5'8, 180 Pounds.
Weapons: Composite Bow, Long Dagger, Shield, and a Hand Axe(called Brana)
Apparel: During desert treks, Shar wears a dark blue robe over very light leather armor, and a pair of wool boots.
Items: A Small Sapphire, which assists him in focusing his magic. A backpack filled with food and various supplies.
Personality: Shar enjoys questing, and has a keen mind. This isn't his first trek through the desert by a far sight, so he's gotten a bit used to people listening to his experience. He's slow to anger, but has an unstoppable rage when pushed too far. He enjoys staring at the stars during the night. His favorite color is blue, and he can't stand the taste of water. His desire for money drives him to take jobs that his sense of self-preservation find to be much riskier than they need to be.
Skills: Expert Sailor, Master Bowman, Middling overland navigator, Skillful navigator over water, Decent Hand to Hand Combatant. Expert Chef. Can form arrows hard as iron from ice, summon water, and guide his arrows with the wind. These specific skills are his only magical abilities.
History: Shar was born on the Island of Seidria, amongst the villages in the farmlands. He was raised by his mother, a tavern owner and cook for the local priests. His father, Eric, was a member of the Militia, and died in a trek to the north eastern forests. Shar spent most days training with his bow, and learning to cook from his mother.

At the age of 13, he underwent the Rite of the Mimir. His magical abilities were recognized, and he was quickly brought into the fold of the local Temple of Thor. His interest in archery led him to focus his abilities on enhancing that particular skill, and in the process, became a water summoner.

Shar has been adventuring on and off for the last 15 years, and has seen most of Osiris and a bit of southern Albion. He made a point to visit the site of the battle where his father died, and built a small shrine there.

He is currently residing at the Shrine of the Seidr, in the hall of the Water Summoners in Thebes.
