Osiris Fraternal Order

Well Alt... it really has been a journey so far.

You are, of course, what originally drew me to Osiris during Syb's reign. This naturally means I've only known basically one and a half Pharaohs, not having been here throughout all of Syb's. Despite that, I have seen this region come so far in my short time as a part of it. That was you. Looking at the ovation you have received above and on our discord from people who've been around far longer than I, it is certainly safe to say that you have been one of, if not the best Pharaoh Osiris has ever had. This region is infinitely better for having been ruled by you, of that there is no doubt.

On a personal note, I thank you for seeing something in me and putting up with everything that is me; the good, the bad, and the downright insane, for the couple of years we've known one another now. Our roads through this hellscape of a game haven't always been the same, but they've been intertwined for a long time now, recently leading to my own appointment as a Guardian. For your trust in me, your devotion to the region, and your excellent capacity for leadership, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Best of luck in Karma, the journey is just starting.

I came to Osiris in May 2018 because of you. I was lost, and needed a home in NationStates. I did not know much (damn, the amount of things I have learned since last May is incalculable,) but I knew that my favorite former commander of TWPAF was about to take power. I did not know what would come of my time in Osiris - and I have not been disappointed. I have made so many new friends in Osiris, and have learned a bunch about raiding and NS in general - including a bunch of things that I didn't even know existed. And everything I have learned here has directly and indirectly been because of you. You have truly been a fantastic mentor to me. Thank you so much for everything you have done, Alti.

And my story is not a unique one. The positive impact you have had on the NS careers of so many players is impossible to fully describe in words.

I am extremely sad to see you go, but I can understand why you are stepping down. Being in charge of anything is extremely tiring after enough time.

Osiris is a thriving, propserous region thanks to your work, and a place I am glad to call home. Your leadership skills are unparalleled by anyone I have met so far in NS. I wish you the best of luck as you inevitably continue to do wonderful things in this game, wherever you will be.

I'm really excited to see what Lynxi will do with Osiris - I think she's gonna be great, and she will start in a great position thanks to you.

'Twas nice dragging myself here after you... Even tho I ended up not putting in as much work as I intended and was absent enough to almost feel out of place I still could instead feel the welcoming place you were turning Osi into, even before you became Pharaoh really.

What I've constantly seen as the products of your goals with any region you've put yourself into is always a place that feels alive and that its community can call home and, as you recognized yourself, you have certainly achieved your goals in Osiris, and they weren't small achievements at all! You really do deserve all the praise you're receiving!

... It's just a shame that you ended up giving the throne to someone as lame and with as many cooties as Lynxi tho u.u

That is all really hard to take in... Haha. I love you guys. Thank you. I'm not one for self lauding. But I've done my very best here and given Osiris my heart. I'm really glad that to you guys, my service has been good. That's what matters to me.

I honestly do not know what to say.

You have been without question the best Pharaoh of Osiris in my memory. You are kind , patient and honestly care about everyone you meet. But you are firm as well when required, prepared to say what needs to be said,. prepared to state uncomfortable truths. To be one side of that coin is impressive, but to successfully master both is truly mind boggling.
You have imbued Osiris with a new, meritocratic, Identity that truly awards those that work hard and aren't afraid to try new things. Thank you for putting up with me when at times since August of last year I was a wee bit irritating.

To come of the back of Syb's delegacy and instill some degree of caring back into Osiris would have been amazing. What you have done is truly phenomenal.

One of the most important parts of being in leadership is putting others in a position to succeed, and you've done that repeatedly, Alti. Even the reasoning behind your abdication is to avoid taking opportunity from others. This is how a meritocracy like ours truly thrives, with a selfless mindset such as yours. You've been amazing in more than just your approach to leadership, too. You've been amazing in actual leadership, top to bottom.

I would say we're never gonna have another Pharaoh like you, Altino, but I don't think that's true. You've done such a fantastic job of setting Osiris up for future success that I think we'll have plenty more great Pharaohs like you. And one is coming up soon!

You are a talented, energetic leader and will undoubtedly build upon these successes.
