I would just like to pop in and say that I oppose any minimum or maximum sentencing standards or guidelines. I see that it was mentioned somewhere in the thread.

Most of this has flown over my head, but my first, second, and third thoughts upon seeing "Elected Judges" mentioned were 'Sounds iffy', 'People that know this better than me are against it', and "Yeah, I'm against". So...

Yeah, I'm against elected judges.

I haven't forgotten about this, but this is going to require quite a bit of amending and I've been too busy in RL to sit down and work on a draft. Thanks for everyone's patience, and of course if anyone else would like to take a stab at a draft since I'm lagging, I'm not strongly attached to being the one to work on it.

For the record, I've decided not to pursue this draft because I don't think significant Pschent reform is really needed at this time. If someone else thinks it is, feel free to take it up.
