And as I replied, I don't know anything about what you're talking about. Would you like to explain, please?
It's called the Osiran Civil War, when Osiris was a battleground between factions. Those factions manifested like informal political parties.

The last thing I want to do is cause contention. If another political party was created I would be more than willing to cooperate with them, because unless they were the "Osiran
Sedition Party" our goals would be the same: to improve the Osiran community and to see Osiris grow as a region.

I'm afraid that we ye old faction leaders also said to have the same ideas, and we maintained that even as our factions clashed in every aspect of Osiran life. Why is this party necessary? Why do people need to join a party like this to display their commitment?
In political parties, they put the party first. People in this region, people in the Deshret should put Osiris first. Political parties divide people, it becomes "us" and "them". You end up spending hours in private channels talking to your supporters trying to figure out how to pass certain laws written by your party. It becomes a case of "how can we undermine X to allow us to bypass Y or get Z through the assembly?" The Deshret tends to vote based on how certain influential people in the cabinet vote - that is how it works.
I know how this goes. I've done it. And so has a fair few other people who are remnants from the KRO.

I see your point.
You say a political party would not be useful for achieving cooperation and prosperity within the region, and would even work against my goals. I believe you, but I still believe that some sort of non-government organization would be beneficial. Extra-government activities are an important part of developing a healthy regional identity. I am going to do some thinking and bring the Hope Alliance back in a staunchly nonpolitical form.
It would be kind of a shame if the logo went to waste IMO
