That actually didn't belong to Osiris, it was always his. He was just letting us use them whilst he was here. Which is honestly another laudable action, rather than what you thought.

I agree with Bob especially if it was an unceremonious retaking of his JP without informing Vac or anyone else my faithful Osiris ops puppet was quite annoyed at summarily being defenestrated out of The UCR without so much as a so long and thanks for all the fish.

Not that small matter should detract from his award if you believe him worthy of the award. Personally the way he left the Pharaohship he is totally entitled to it because of RL events new job and all and he did do a great job as del but his resignation letter attempted to pin some of the things he orchestrated as that which he believed Osiris as a region wanted and some of those points do not hold water in that regard. If you are going to be a decisive leader like he was you should go out sticking to those decisive decisions and truly own them.

Is it really true that this would make him more decorated than Ravenclaw awardwise that should not be the case if/since Ravenclaw has served as pharaoh multiple times and influenced Osiris for a longer time than Cormac has. (Relatively new to Osiris so I may be speaking without background in this regard)

Although I agree that Cormac's exit could've gone smoother, I think that he most certainly deserves the award, considering all he did for Osiris, and all the stress accumulated trying to do what the community wanted. Also, Cormac has served more times as Pharaoh then Ravenclaw, Noble.

The only part of your statement that is correct, Noble, is that you speak about that which you do not know.

Then my apologies I did not nor do I mean to demean Cormac's delegacy in any way I supported every policy he enacted as a delegate and was in fact proud to have as I stated such a decisive leader unafraid to act.

Just a little sad that he left us when Osi was on a high note thanks to him but RL>NS of course.

Moreover, the award is for his service to Osiris. He gave the Sekhmet a *later* updating jump point than Wuqyin. The UCR was the one used for Balder, and later ISRA. ISRA is on the verge of not existing, and if Balder needs a new jump point, perhaps it can make its own or Osiris may lend its close friend the space. What Cormac does after resigning citizenship, and Pharaoh, of Osiris should not impact what he has done for and in Osiris.

A few points, I think.

Regarding length of citizenship - It is true that I became a citizen of Osiris before Cormac but I did not serve multiple times as Pharaoh. The primary service I am known for (and the most highly decorated for) is my work in Osiran Foreign Affairs.

Cormac served as Pharaoh twice: he was the Seventh Pharaoh of the Kemetic Republic of Osiris, July-September 2013. He was also the third Elected Pharaoh of the Osiris Fraternal Order, serving August-September (out of a three month term).

As for who has influenced Osiris more/longer. I will refrain from commenting. I may have held Foreign Affairs in Osiris for a rather vast period (13 months as Head (Nov '12-July (1st)'13, Dec '13 - April '14, 10 months as a member of the department, deputy head, head of the diplomatic service etc), he was Pharaoh twice which is a whole different kind of influence. I think that two terms as Pharaoh match the influence a long term Minister of FA would have quite easily, especially if they serve at different times. I served a grand total of five days under Cormac as MoFA during his first term before resigning and taking a break for my health.

Had I remained a citizen with my noble title, Arch-Magister of Alexandria (which is now defunct as the city itself no longer exists in the Osiris' borders) then I'd have exceeded him in numbers (Commendation of Osiris, Vigilant of Horus, Nomarch of Alexandria, Seal of Vigilance, Crown of Osiris for me; Violet Jewel of the Atum, Nomarch of Karnak, Seal of Vigilance and Crown of Osiris for Cormac)

I'll say one thing though: Cormac's gameplay alignment, fluid as it may have been during his history is independent. Both he and I have done what is necessary for Osiris in some very trying times that have faced our region, and I have no doubt that regardless of how we stand now, both outsiders in a region we cherish and have given everything for, that we will do so again in the future should our services be needed by her.

Cormac done what he felt was necessary, but ultimately decided that he needed a rest from Osiris. Much the same as I, when I resigned from everything at the end of May. Long term dedicated and dutiful service to a community of this size, this type drains you, especially when you are empathetic and keenly aware of the less savoury areas of sinker politics like both he and I are.

Whatever his actions now, whether you disagree with them, or not, much the same as with me, I ask that you graciously remember his service to Osiris. The service which has allowed Osiris to exist as you know it now. His deeds now do not diminish the service he gave to this region, anymore than mine do by taking Alexandria and making it an independent kingdom outside of Osiran jurisdiction... after a year of being involved full time with Osiris, he deserves a time for reflection, contemplation and rest which I ask members of this region to grant him.
