Brief biography: John Gordon was born in Scotland, and immigrated to the United States at the age of ten. In school, he got good grades and was often at or near the top of his class. However, his fierce temper often landed him in trouble. He graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in veterinary medicine, and shortly thereafter married a woman named Katelyn. They had one child, a boy named Ian, who is now 11.
