Ygfbv is one of the best and most available member the legion has right now.
I'd prefer if Sam remained Vizier.

Ygfbv wouldn't be Vizier until a separate confirmation vote Bob, and if he feels it is necessary than I can find another person to be Vizier.

George if I had ever spoken to a superior of mine like that in any other region or in a RL job I would be canned so fast my head would spin.

As a Priest of the Seshat, I will remain neutral in this matter.
However, I would like to say something.
--- Osiris has been through a lot over the past few months. If this region is truly dedicated to have a reformed region, a region to be founded upon Freedom, Justice, Equality, Maturity, and Political Stability -- then we as a region will have to unify and work towards that goal.
TEP and Osiris now have much more in common than ever. TEP is one of the best regions I know, because they uphold themselves to those ideas of Freedom, Justice, Equality, Maturity, and Political Stability. These ideals took good root because of and in spite of the Empire. TEP got over itself and continues its quest to become whole once again. I know, because I've lived there for quite awhile.
I bring these ideals from TEP with me as I change gears and live in Osiris. This is a grand new place, a new environment, a new people. I like it here so much, that I've decided to invest myself in this great place and help build a better future... not just for you, and me, but for all of us, and even for those who take our places after we eventually retire from NationStates.
So, I ask you... after the fight and the struggle to create an Osiris reborn... is this region willing to work together and create something beautiful and marvelous for others to see??? I know I am, and I hope you are too.

I received a memo from Georgie via MemoServ on IRC early this morning. I'm not going to post the whole thing because some of it was personal, but the first half reads as follows:
-MemoServ- Memo 22 - Sent by StGeorge, Feb 03 01:04:17 2014
-
-MemoServ- ------------------------------------------
-
-MemoServ- Go ahead and ban me from the Osi forum. I'm leaving ns and don't want to be tempted back. [...]
I'm not going to ban Georgie from the forum as the administrative team isn't going to get in the habit of banning by request, and whether I can even ban a citizen by request but absent any resignation of citizenship on this forum is a legally ambiguous matter that I'm not getting into. But this seems relevant to the Deshret's debate regarding this recall.

I apologize for my absence. I will stand with the Pharaoh and vote in the affirmative on the recall.

Oh dear. What a mess.
I'm almost glad that other things had distracted me, so I missed all this.
