Voting: Chief Scribe
Pursuant to Article II, Section 1(4) of the Scroll of Ma'at, the Council of Scribes is responsible for electing a Chief Scribe to preside over the Council of Scribes according to its procedural rules, and to exercise discretion in determining procedure where no rules exist. Any citizen admitted to citizenship prior to the beginning of this election period on May 16, 2016 is eligible to vote for Chief Scribe. In order to cast a valid vote, citizens must vote for
one candidate, vote to reopen nominations, or abstain from voting.
Voting will close when the Pharaoh closes it on or after 11:00 a.m. EDT on May 23, 2016. If voting has not been closed by 11:59 p.m. EDT on May 23, 2016, voting will be automatically closed.
