The respect between candidates in this keeper election is sickening, especially your vows to support each other fully if the other wins.

Where do you get off acting this way? More importantly can it be bottled and spread through the vents of the Deshret conference room?

So Jakker, what are your goals for the Deshret this term? What do you hope to accomplish by the end of it?
Do you have a legislative agenda that you would like to follow, and if so, what is it?

I find it a pleasant alternative to what we've had in the recent past. But it doesn't help me to make up my mind about how to vote, if there is so much harmony between the candidates. Could both candidates please post one sentence starting with "I think I would be the better Keeper, because..."?

Great questions, Tomb and thank you for them. In terms of goals, I want to continue the format of laying out different topics to discuss. We still have several that people brought up previously. This provided a good foundation for activity during my term. Furthermore, I think it is getting to that time where we need to decide what kind of conduct we want the Deshret to present even in tough times. Developing some behavioral expectations that we all agree upon would go a long way.

By the end of the term, I hope the next Keeper can look at what I've done and feel like everything is in place for them to succeed. I want anyone to be able to pick up the keys and smoothly transition.

I do not have a legislative agenda in terms of specific things I want to push for. That will depend on what is going on around us. We need to be adaptable to the region. But I also enjoy hear the thoughts of others to cater the agenda.

The only thing I can really say is that Sev already oversees security and wearing a lot of hats can be a challenge. That also means he essentially will solely funnel new people from members to citizens to the deshret. I'd imagine it is more ideal to have additional hands in that process for checks and balances sake. Lastly, Sev is the longest serving member of the Deshret and the one who handles elections when the Keeper is unable to do so. It would be interesting to see the next person who would handle that if Sev was Keeper and could not facilitate a vote.

I would be more than happy to have either Jakker or Sev, two people I have boundless respect for, take the office.

I don't suppose they'd be willing to merge into one being known as SevJak?

Regents?
[6/3/2016 19:34:30] Lord Mazrim Rahl (Biyah): obviously she was gathering spell regents, so she could cast her end-of-term mass death spell. Young sorceress' must kill their Master before they are allowed to leave.
[6/3/2016 19:35:52] Gradea Sanguine: Makes sense
[6/3/2016 19:36:39] Lord Mazrim Rahl (Biyah): Hence, pray she learns well and doesn't have a dunce as a teacher... else the next generation that kills her will be weak, snobby and only half-trained. That is how society falls
[6/3/2016 19:37:30] Lord Mazrim Rahl (Biyah): I am a proud member of MAWS. Men against weak sorcerers/eses

Cool. Thank you for answering my questions, Jakker. :)

This election is a tough one, because well, we have two EXCELLENT and dedicated individuals running. You guys even recognized that in each other. Anyways, good luck.

This is a point I hadn't considered. I had no intention to run and decided on an impulse. It is prudent that the flow from citizenship to Deshret be open to more than one person. That much power should not belong to a single person, even if I did feel I'd be able to equitably and ethically handle the distinct roles.

In light if this, I have suspended my candidacy in favor of Jakker.
