If you were elected, who do you have in mind to be your vizier?

Wait, can you just highlight exactly what "big part" of your manifesto refers to domestic activity.Ainocra wrote:Tue Sep 29, 2015 8:36 amWell Raven a big part of my campaign is focused on domestic activity.
All I can see is:
And the suggestion for mock trials to keep the Justice Ministry active, which is an interesting idea, but not my cup of tea anyway. We have a great theme and alot of great material to draw on for culture. We have had some great role playing going on and I will do my best to support that in order to see it continue.
The rest of your manifesto I think is actually quite strong - certainly eminently sensible. Indeed, all around I find your candidacy to be sensible and I know from last time you come across better 1 to 1 than in the manifesto.

I'm sorry but as a matter of principle I feel like discussing potential staff appointments prior to actually being elected to be the height of hubris.Jakker wrote:Wed Sep 30, 2015 11:39 pmIf you were elected, who do you have in mind to be your vizier?
I can confirm that I have approached my potential Vizier with the job offer already though.
As for domestic activity for starters I intend to hold the The Festival of the Creation, starting on October the 18th and running through the 24th.Wait, can you just highlight exactly what "big part" of your manifesto refers to domestic activity.Ainocra wrote:Tue Sep 29, 2015 8:36 amWell Raven a big part of my campaign is focused on domestic activity.

Under the Osiran Holidays and Honors Act it states
(a) The Festival of the Creation, celebrated annually on 18 October, will commemorate the creation of the region Osiris on 18 October 2011.
since one of the things I have been going on about is a fair/carnival I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to invite all our friends and allies to celebrate with us. I am going to be approaching people about speaking engagements during the festival soon. I am also open to any suggestion for activities during the festival. If elected I also intend to present several awards to various members of our community over the course of the event.

You can plan inter-regional events with other regions-- Equinox greets you with open arms. Increase raiding and defending (I'm not currently aware of our gameplay state but you can still better it.) Revive Roleplay. Tinker with the forums, introducing some kind of currency and salaries. There's so much one can do.
It can't be achieved overnight though.

So discussing potential leadership roles in our region is wrong, but buying votes with the promise of such positions is a-okay?Ainocra wrote:Thu Oct 01, 2015 12:42 amI'm sorry but as a matter of principle I feel like discussing potential staff appointments prior to actually being elected to be the height of hubris.Jakker wrote:Wed Sep 30, 2015 11:39 pmIf you were elected, who do you have in mind to be your vizier?

I am planning one soon, Invitations will be forthcoming!
The only person I have approached about a job in the new term is my potential Vizier, and I did that nearly a month ago.Koth wrote:Thu Oct 01, 2015 10:29 pmSo discussing potential leadership roles in our region is wrong, but buying votes with the promise of such positions is a-okay?Ainocra wrote:Thu Oct 01, 2015 12:42 amI'm sorry but as a matter of principle I feel like discussing potential staff appointments prior to actually being elected to be the height of hubris.Jakker wrote:Wed Sep 30, 2015 11:39 pmIf you were elected, who do you have in mind to be your vizier?

I felt that if I was in fact the victor it would be important to have someone in place as quickly as possible.
I see it as good governance.
To your point I don't want to speculate on it for the very reason you mentioned.
I want people to vote for me based on my platform, not because they think I might give them a job.

How do you plan on dealing with the zombies? Osiris needs strong leadership in the face of annilialation and I intend on voting for that candidate
