Section 2 Article 3 of the state code of Osiris which reads

[3. The Pharaoh will have the power to appoint or remove any citizen as a senior cabinet official, styled Scribes of the Hedjet. Appointment of Scribes must be approved by the Deshret. Junior cabinet officials may be appointed at the discretion of the relevant Scribe.]3

[(a) The ministry of justice will be a mandatory executive ministry which must have a Scribe assigned to oversee it.]5

(a) In the event that the office of Justice is vacant any citizen may petition the Pschent directly.

In keeping with the idea to simplify the state code I believe that section a shown above should be stricken.
The Pharaoh should have full authority to organize the Hedjet as he or she sees fit.

Given that the Deshret can remove the Pharaoh by a vote I do not feel that this would overly impact oversight of the executive.

Good idea. I don't understand how anyone can be opposed to this.

I don't either especially since the universal consensus has been that we need to simplify the state code
