Two Truths and a Lie

The rules are simple. I'll post two statements that are true about myself and one lie, in random order, and the next person to post will guess which one of the statements is false. If they're wrong, people can keep guessing until someone gets the right answer. The first person to get the right answer will post two true statements and one false statement, and so on.

I'll start:

1. I was in a fraternity in college.
2. I majored in engineering.
3. I wrote for my college newspaper.

Correct! The first classical composer I studied was Frederic Chopin.

Nox, I feel like you told me you did do marching band at some point but I can't see you as someone who's a fan of heights, so I'm going to say #2.
