Another note is that I refuse to moderate links and attach ratings to them. Click links at your own risk. The only thing I will moderate is if "Adult" content is posted which would contain things like porn, extreme gore, things of that nature. That is a warnable offense and would be marked on someone's record. Again, the place to lodge complaints about #osi is with the channel owner, not this forum. They are two separate entities and IRC is a informal lounge where crass things are sometimes said.

I would say you are definitely misunderstanding and don't quite know what racist means. Or how offensive it is to imply someone is a NAZI.

Black people don't rate as 'anyone'? I believe the link characterised them as thieves, but I'm not too willing to read through it again to prove my point. I respectfully submit that perhaps it is you who are less aware of what constitutes racism. Casually including a racist link for the lulz is dangerously close in the least. Eddie Murphy, a black American, would be partaking in 'ownership' of the slur. The two cannot be compared.

I am again compelled to point out that what I did and continue to do here is warn off of such slurs, not to imply that the member IS such a person, but indicate that such a mistake might be made where reasonable self censorship is unforthcoming and to suggest, if anything, that it will cast a negative light on one's personal reputation as well as others with whom one is associated, namely all Osirans. I am trying to determine, according to Osirans, if this is indeed undesirable and to be discouraged or cavalier and to be dismissed.

Bigotry will be sternly dealt with and these people will be told to not show prejudice or malice towards others within the grounds of Osiris. However I have yet to see any bigotry take place on the forums or IRC. I think the RMB has had a few instances however.

VeniEdit: Koth did not attack anyone, including black people. He didn't imply thievery, he didn't imply violence. He linked to a spam game gone wrong. I don't see a single instance in those logs where anyone attacked, persecuted, or held prejudice against a group in that chat.

Are you fucking serious? Koth linked to something that someone else said, not something representative of his own views. This is something that the owners of #osi (who by the way are the founders of the Osiris Fraternal Order) take seriously. If you're uncomfortable with references to racist remarks made by someone not present in the channel, why are you on the Internet at all? OMG THERE MIGHT BE A RACIST SOMEWHERE.

They did nothing wrong, that link does not represent there views, or anyone's views in Osiris as far as I know. That was simply for people to laugh at how that particular spam game had gone wrong. Get over yourself, you're not winning any political points by being professionally offended by everything, I mean damn.
