OUTPOSTS IN THE LAND OF THE DEAD
Your nation has been marked by death. Perhaps it faced an apocalypse and returned, or perhaps it made the choice to explore beyond the veil of its own accord. Whatever brought your nation to Osiris, it has been marked. Your people uncover ancient tombs, tombs some among them are sure were not there before, pyramids and mastabas incongruous against their surroundings. Their doors promise wealth for those brave enough to pass through, and warn terrible retribution on those who abuse that privilege. An expedition is gathered and sent into the tomb, and are not seen for days. Eventually they return, and they bear a fantasical tale. They claim they passed through into an open desert, vast and threatening, yet the very sands glitter with gold and jewels. A land of opportunity, beyond all others, into which other nations from far-flung worlds are taking their first steps as well. Will your nation build its own outpost in this strange land?

| Technology Zones | (blue is modern/atomic, red is early industrial, yellow is pre-industrial, purple is sci-fi, and green is stone age) | The Portal to the Land of the Dead roleplay introduced above is the basic setting for the regional map of Osiris. In this roleplay, nations establish outposts in Osiris (represented on the maps above) in their corresponding tech zone. These maps are a fun and unique way for Citizens to leave their mark on the region, establish territorial distances for outpost-to-outpost roleplay, and act as a premise for character roleplay here on the forum. To have your nation's outpost added to the map, you will need to fill read the guidelines and rules below, then fill out the application. Read on for that!
Application Guidelines

Lalli handles the management of the map, while Tethys (Tethys 13) handles the map images. All sections of the application template not explicitly marked 'Optional' must be completed for consideration.

Please be mindful that this is an-volunteer effort, like every OFO community project, and that Tethys, Skies, Resentine, and I may not always be able to get back to you right away or update the map immediately (especially the version on the NS site); we ask for your patience and grace <3
