For this week’s Osiran of the Week, I announce: Altino

When I first joined Osiris, I fangirled hard about the many Pharaohs-Emeritus and Hasal-Pharaohs that contributed to our regional history. And you could argue that I became particularly attached to Hasal-Pharaoh Altino purely because we both love and appreciate owls, but in reality, I came to admire and respect the way Altino sat on the throne; her Pharaohship was the beginning of our modern culture. She was more than a hands-on Pharaoh, she was the get-stuff-done-Pharaoh at that time, and following true to our meritocratic values, Osiris benefited tenfold, in way that we can still see today.

Besides Altino’s amazing love for owls and impressive NS résumé, she is also just a really great person. You can tell that her values in gameplay and community building stem from her real-life values of just trying to be a good person, and that wholesomeness deserves all the recognition.

Thank you for being an absolute queen, Altino!
And even though you never needed it, I was technically your mentor when you regained citizenship last time. So I can forever lay claim that I mentored you, hehe.

Altino has always been a easy to talk with. She is perhaps one of the most approachable people. Always a treat to talk with Altino. Hope She has nothing but the best coming up her way!

Were it not for Alti and the welcoming community she fostered even before becoming Pharaoh, there is a fair chance I would have remained nothing more than a once-a-month issue answerer on this game. I may well even have left it entirely again, which is rather distressing to think about when I consider how much of a support this community has been for the past few rather difficult years. So, when I say 'I do not know where I would be without Alti', I mean it both wholeheartedly and on multiple levels.

For this week’s Osiran of the Week, I announce: Ghazi

I have always enjoyed my chats with Ghazi as they are always very kind and inviting. I sadly, haven't had much time to personally get to know them, but hopefully that changes soon as Ghazi seems like a wonderful person to call a friend.

It's my understanding that they are a reoccurring citizen, which is very cool that they have found their way back to us, hehe. I hope that this time they decide to stick around for a long time, as they bring good vibes to the community, and I always appreciate good vibes.

For this week’s Osiran of the Week, I announce: Toast

Toast is an incredibly chill individual. I always adore my interactions with them. They are a very active citizen of our region who serves as a dedicated member of the Legion. They also participate in events when they can and seemingly is always down for a good VC chat! There have been instances where I’ve hosted things, and Toast is the only one to show up! And that’s hardcore dedication to community, which is something I greatly appreciate in folks, hehe! Though, recently, Toast has joined the nefarious “Mute Gang”; a gang of baddies who raid VCs in their numbers while… on… MUTE! We may need to schedule an intervention here soon, because gang life will make our regional toasted bread all soggy.

Toast is very cool! And I’m very happy to have been gifted enough to meet them. Thank you for being super awesome, Toast! 🥰

There was this one time in BoM server i talked with a “Toastblob”. I never realized who it was until Toastblob laughed at me and told that they were Cryo all this time lol.

For this week’s Osiran of the Week, I announce: Rigel

There’s little in Osiris that Rigel hasn’t done or contributed to over the many years of loyalty and dedication to our region. Rigel has proven time and time again that she’s an insanely intelligent and competent individual, testimony provided by her highly successful career in Osiris. We’re in good hands if Rigel is around, hehe 🥰

A part from being someone who has helped shapped our region’s culture and history, Rigel is also an incredibly kind and genuine person. I personally have always had wonderful chats with Rigel and have come to respect her greatly for the person she is. One of my most favorite memories with Rigel was when I first joined Osiris in ‘21 - Rigel, myself, and a few others stayed awake talking in VC until daylight hit. I can’t recall what all we talked about, or why the conversation was so interesting, I just remember it being one of my first VC chats, if not my very first.

Also, Rigel has really great taste in music! 🥰
