Following the failure of the attempted coup in the nation of Tiparu by the Tiparu All-powerful Security Committee (TASC), Empress Diaz returns to power, grateful for the support from other nations in Osiris.
But...evidence has emerged suggesting that some of the coup plotters (including Diaz's nephew Diego) are still on the run in other countries.
It has also been suggested that the original coup was backed by agents from Maxtopia, and that this was just one of a long line of terrible schemes that they have employed against not only Tiparu, but also other sovereign Osiran nations as well! 
To counter this menace decisively, the Empress has made the historic decision to invite other nations to join in discussions......about ways of working together to expose these schemes.......plotting single or joint responses........and to do what it takes to ensure the security of our glorious nations and our region from this menace...

The name of the thread was suggested by Wymondham, and I think it's a fair informal description of those of us who were doing RP about this subject on the discord (At least it's a fair description of past Tiparuan policy
).It's up to folk where they want to take this.
Possible ways forward might include:
Security services reporting, investigating, and sharing information about the nefarious and mysterious ways in which Maxtopia and other powers have sought to undermine your nation or others, so as to unravel any broader conspiracies...
Diplomatic discussions about what measures might/will be taken (military, economic, political, cultural, covert, or otherwise) to contain/disrupt these other powers in their schemes.
Military strategy discussions within or between nations/current affairs accounts of these measures being enacted (given the name of this thread and some of our previous discussions...I can guess where this will probably go 
). 
There could also be wildcards or unexpected developments...as long as folk contributing are reasonably happy with that and it relates to the overall scope. 
These are just a few initial thoughts... I hope they sound ok.
I don't know how often I will be able to post, and I would imagine some responses could get very detailed, so it might be a relatively leisurely pace, but if folk want to advance things faster we can think about that too. What do folk reckon? Does that sound a reasonable start?
